As I've been writing my book series Days Since... I constantly seem to be on the lookout for new ideas for post-apocalyptic fortresses around Cincinnati. The book series is based in Cincinnati, so I try to come up with ideas that fit into the scene. (Even though River's Edge Academy is completely fictional I like to have some real places sprinkled into my stories) With all that being said I thought it would be fun to snap a few photos of places around Cincinnati that might be a good place to hole up and begin the rebuilding of humanity. I drive past this place on Kellogg Ave. fairly often. As you can see, it's a beast: a huge concrete wall that surrounds the entire building, some pretty hefty gates, and overall its a really big building.
