Draft is finished for Days Since... Battle for River's Edge: Day 995

Hey! Hey! I'm very excited to announce that the first draft for the fourth installment in the Almawt Virus series is finished. It took me just over 3 months to complete it, and I'm hoping, HOPING, that it won't take me nearly as long to clean it up. So... in celebration, here is the cover reveal for the newest book Days Since... Battle for River's Edge: Day 995

A Few Scenes from Days Since... Thomas: Day 758

I've been meaning to do this for a while, but never got around to it. Until today... These are a few pictures of some of the key scenes from the first book in my post-apocalyptic Almawt Virus series - Days Since... Thomas: Day 758. While these places do exist, they have been manipulated to fit in with the story. So not everything is exact, but these should give you an idea of what they look like in general. The pictures of the neighborhood are Lower Price Hill (LPH Fortress). The others are from the Queensgate Railyard and the gazebo in Burnet Woods.

Days Since... Day 995: Battle for River's Edge

Just finished the in-depth chapter outline for the newest book in the Almawt Virus Series. It takes place right at the conclusion of book 3. The story line follows the three main characters from the first books in the series in alternating POVs from chapter to chapter. As it's set up now, it will be nearly 100 pages longer than the other books. I'm very excited to get this project started!!!

Release Day for Jenny is Tomorrow!

Very excited for the release of Days Since... Jenny: Day 986 tomorrow. I feel like I have a pretty good release strategy in line. I'm hoping this is the book that helps punch my books through the wall. We will see. Now, that book 3 is finished, I am getting to work on mapping out book 4. So far, so good. I'm liking where this is going. It brings the three main characters POVs into one book. The chapters will bounce between characters as the plot unfolds.

Crunch Time is Upon Us!

Wrapping up the final draft for Days Since... Jenny: Day 986. This book turned out much better than I anticipated. I can't wait to get it out there for everyone to read. I'm still wavering on what to do next. I have the idea for the fourth book in this series, but I've mapped out the first book in another series. I'll wait to see how Jenny does.

Days Since... Tyler: Day 378 Update!

Finished the short story! I have a couple of people putting some extra eyes on it, and I hope to have it back within the week. I'll do one last look after receiving their feedback and then get it out there. Like I said before, it will be free. It came in just under 10k words, so it will be a little over 30 pages. Short read, so you can get a free taste of my writing. Thanks again.

Cover Reveal!

I absolutely love the new cover of the short story. I'm in the middle of revising it and hope to have the next revision finished by the end of the month. (Yeah right!) Anyways, please keep an eye out for this book once it releases. It's going to be FREE and SHORT!!! NO EXCUSES not to read it.

Short Story's Rough Draft Finished

Rough draft of Days Since... Tyler: Day (Not sure yet) is completed. The story follows a man who suffers from schizophrenia. He believes he holds the cure for the Almawt Virus in his genes and because of this he's under constant surveillance by the CDC. Once I'm finished, the book will be free. I expect it to be around 30 pages and will contain the first chapter of Days Since... Thomas: 758. A short read--an easy way to get another book under your belt for the year. Keep an eye out. I'm expecting to be finished by the end of the month.

Short Story

Taking a slight detour from Book 3. I'm working on a short story that is part of the Days Since... Almawt Virus Series. I'm hoping to do several of these and eventually release them altogether as a collection, but for now I'll be using it as a freebie to try and drive people toward the series. Almost finished with the rough draft!

Just to clarify...

I apologize for some of the confusion around the new book: Days Since... Thomas: Day 758. Days Since... Xavier: Day 853 was published in April 2018. It was originally book one. I started writing Thomas shortly before Xavier published. As I continued with Thomas I realized it would need to be before Xavier. Once Thomas was nearing completion, I reworked Xavier to make it book 2 in the series because Thomas would be book 1. If you already bought Xavier before Thomas came out and the rework, I don't think its necessary to reread Xavier. All the main points are the same. I rewrote the prologue, added a bit of conflict in the beginning chapters, and took out some of the irrelevant detail. Book 3, following Jenny, will be book 3. Thanks

Big Thanks to Everyone!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased Days Since... Thomas: Day 758. We've broken into the top 100 new releases of my favorite book categories: #39 in Kindle eBook > Men's Adventure #75 in Kindle eBook > Dystopian #93 in Kindle eBook > Post-Apocalyptic This is so amazing. Thank you so much guys and girls! Please share this adventure of Thomas with friends and family and keep this book moving up the charts.

A Very Good Time to Breathe...

Finally finished Days Since... Thomas: Day 758 and revised Days Since... Xavier: Day 853. A lot of work went into finishing these books. Moving Xavier from book one to book two was easier than I thought it would be. (If you have already read Xavier, there is no need to read it again. I did not change any major points. I added a few scenes and changed the prologue. This was done to try and make the beginning more engaging.) It took a while, but I feel both of these books are very clean and the formatting looks great. Thomas flows right into Xavier and I love the change, from the point of the reader, from being a part of the Second Alliance to switching to the other vantage point. I have started on the third book. The opening of Chapter 1 is a lot of fun, and I've tried to add a few new elements to it. I'm trying to write in a few little twists to keep it fresh and keep people guessing toward the end of the series, which I suspect will be 5 books in total. Thanks for stayin...

First Revision is Complete

Yay! First revision is completed, and I'm going to spend a week tightening it up then on to the beta readers.  Here's a sneak peak of the cover.
